Converge Payment Gateway Billing & Invoicing

Billing and invoicing is a value-add feature on Elavon Converge payment gateway that allows you to send online invoicing and payment options to your customers via email. Your customers will be able to accept or reject quotes or pay invoices online by using the Converge secure online payment page.

Converge Buy Now Button

Buy buttons are the easiest way to accept secure payments online and can be placed on nearly any website or sent via email. The buy button or hyperlink allows users to click to pay and will bring them to a secure payment page where they can pay with the method of their choice, including new popular options such as a digital wallet.

Hosted Payment Page

Converge’s Hosted Payment Page creates modern, responsive checkout, and ADA-compliant experience for customers. You can quickly link your website to a Converge-hosted checkout page branded with your logo and color scheme where customers enter payment details. This is the easiest way to implement one time and recurring payments, and all cardholder data is handled entirely by Converge, simplifying PCI DSS compliance validation for your business. (SAQ A)

XML API

XML API integration is extensive customization that allows a business to completely control the checkout process via direct integration with the Converge payment gateway. It can be used for Card Present and Card Not Present transactions. Payment data is collected on the merchant’s servers and passed to Converge for authorization and settlement, therefore the merchant must adhere to the most comprehensive PCI Data Security Standards questionnaire. Lightbox

Lightbox implementation is another type of Hosted Payments solution that uses payment modal window to embed an ADA-compliant, branded payment form as an overlay to your online shop or mobile app. When Lightbox is invoked, your online shop darkens out and the payment page appears as a floating element on top. All cardholder data is handled entirely by Converge, simplifying PCI DSS compliance validation for your business. Recurring payments are not supported with this method. (SAQ A)

Accept Mobile Payments

Easily customize our payment page to match your brand, and when customers click to pay, they will be linked to the payment form you create where they can safely and securely enter in their payment details. You will be notified as soon as the mobile payment is made. Converge mobile is a mobile payments solution that allows you to bring the checkout counter to your customer, wherever they are. Accept payments on delivery or use it as a backup in your store during peak times.

Encryption of Card Data

Encryption is the strongest protection for card data when it is in transit. Encryption protects the card data from fraudsters rendering it unrecognizable as it travels across various systems and networks until it is decrypted at Elavon’s secure data center. Encryption is ideally suited for businesses that accept card transactions in a face-to-face or in a card-present environment. Elavon’s encryption solution features format-preserving encryption, which minimizes or completely eliminates common POS system or message format errors.

Account Updater

Whether it is an expiration date change or a new card number, changes in a cardholder’s information can have cascading impacts on all recurring credit card payments tied to that card information on file. The account updater in the Converge payment gateway bypasses any manual labor on the customer's end by automatically updating accounts paid with either Visa® or Mastercard®. Account updater enables customers to proceed with business-as-usual instead of manually resolving unexpectedly declined credit card payments.

Checkout.js

Checkout.js gives the flexibility to customize checkout pages and use functional calls to submit one time and recurring transactions to Converge from a customer's web browser. It is ideal for businesses that want to fully control the design of their payment page and maintain a consistent look and feel throughout their website or mobile app. This method uses a JavaScript library to collect cardholder data from the customer’s browser and send it directly to Converge for authorization and settlement. Sensitive customer payment data does not touch the merchant's server, which simplifies PCI DSS compliance validation. (SAQ A-EP)

Tokenization

Tokenization protects card data when it is in use and at rest. It converts or replaces cardholder data with a unique token value to be used for subsequent transactions. This eliminates the possibility of having card data stolen because the actual card data is not stored on your system. Tokens can be used in card-not-present environments such as ecommerce and mail order/telephone order (MOTO), or in conjunction with encryption in card-present environments. Tokens can reside on your POS/PMS or within your ecommerce infrastructure (at rest) and can be used to make adjustments, add new charges, make reservations, perform recurring transactions, or perform other transactions (in use) without the risk of storing the actual card data.
